INSTALLATION ART
Installation art is an artistic genre of three-dimensional works that are often site-specific and designed to transform the perception of a space
Killing Nature
Kathleen Weetman, Kyle Riegler, Corey Gaynor, Kai-Leon Herbert, John Campbell
Our art represents how our littering is killing nature. We have a
natural setting with rocks shells and plants, intermingled with paper
metals and plastics littered by humans that end up destroying the
natural environment and killing the life that grows from
it.
Name: Freedom
Rachel Buis, Sonny Qadir, Jessica Maristany, Jamie Norton
The feathers signifies the freedom and the opportunity that we have
to always ascend upwards. The different colors of each feather
represents that it does not matter what color you are or where your
from, with hard work and dedication you have the ability
to transcend above your obstacles.
“Husky Art: a modern contrast”
Emily Gosssett, Claudia Delorenzo, Luke Didriksen, Millie Chokshi
To us, this is a commentary on the mix of mass produced and artificial
things in the natural world. Although it may be beautiful it’s clear
that some of these items don’t belong. It is a statement that we have
polluted our world
with things that have changed the way we view nature due to the fact it
interrupts the original worlds picture.
Julie Kim, Kaici Aloupis , Michael Barnett. DJ Scaife, Wayn Steed
Our piece resembles how we try to cover up the
byproduct of human waste with more nature but in reality trash is within
nature because of humanity.
Black is Beauty
Taylor Shell, Greg Rousseau, DJ Ivey, Ambur Clark
In every dark/ negative situation, there is always going to be something positive going on or to look forward to.
"Ant Olga"
Valerie Ferrante, Sydney Frankel
Our project is entitled “Ant Olga”. The
title originated from one of the boxes being addressed to a woman named
Olga, and us later finding an ant on our completed work. Our project
embodies the beauty of nature trying to grow through
our consumerist society. It shows how both can live cohesively in our
world but that nature eventually always perseveres.
